I wanted to do a prompt for October, do a bit of a challenge seeing as for the last few years I just haven’t been able to commit to one. I went through a bunch of them feeling kind of “Meh” on aspects of them until I came across OCtober. So a different OC sketch every day for the month!
Day 1: Myanna. The first Futa character I ever created years ago. She was made as part of RP I was in and I was prompted to make a “Plant Demon” to be a minion of the main villain of the arc at the time. From that I built Myanna and all of the Cuirizu.
Day 2: Azade. “The First” in Myanna’s Garden Azade is a skilled Phyllomagi (plant mage) with a noble upbringing and and a formal education that gives her an edge in outperforming others. She is an invaluable asset to Myanna in all things and is the person who is closest to her.
Day 3: Betsy. Known for being friendly and nurturing with all of the other women of Myanna’s Garden, Betsy will often feign embarrassment or indifference toward the debauchery therein. In truth Betsy is every bit the sexual deviant as the others with even the smallest bit of coaxing.
Day 4: Taeko. Clearly the best character. Lookit that smile, those cute titties. Such a sense of style and pizzazz. Magical Light powers!? And a pussy clean enough you can eat off it. Really there’s no point in doing any more of these, Ren-er..I mean I have piqued. This is not Taeko on Ren’s computer.
Repeat. Not Taeko. >.>
Day 5: Gwendolyn. As a Half Vila, Gwen has always struggled with living in two worlds, now that she has banished her Unseelie nature into a blackened faeglass weapon, she hopes to find balance within herself.
Day 6: Ivy. As one of the Imperium’s Dolls Ivy has lived long enough to acquire a great deal of magical knowledge, but where she serves in Winder’Lae it’s perhaps the Virility Charm she might end up being most known for rediscovering.
Day 7: Morrigan, Queen of the Vampires. Also known as Morrigan the Obsidian for the deadly obsidian grafted to her body, she is one of the few remaining vampires to know the secrets of fleshcraft lifted from the Nasgoran bloodline.
Day 9: Rinn. Half Bloods don’t usually go for in Vishanti society, but during war time Rinn of Rosario distinguished herself hundreds of times over with her swordsmanship, magic, and tactics, Quickly rising to the Rank of General.
Day 11: Rhea, Queen of Dolls. Built in the Imperium as one of the first Prototypes of reproductive constructs, Rhea has broken from her directives to safeguard humanity to instead wield their desire against them.
Day 12: Renezuo. The character from which I take my namesake is one of the oldest characters I have, created over a decade and a half ago. It seemed appropriate to include the Miasanamu prince in exile for OCtober.
Day 13: Victoria. As a countess in Tenebre Dontae Victoria has always managed to stay ahead of the game by embracing new progressive, and sometimes unorthodox, ways of thinking from that of other Vishanti.
Day 14: Kendra. As a Kadeshah to the goddess of Love, Kendra is versed in magic and sexual technique that can satisfy even the most ravenous of lovers. Donations to the temple are encouraged but not required.
Day 15: Kiaki. As the living embodiment of the negativity and darkness purged from a High Priestess to Sophitia, Kiaki struggles with deep incurable madness and dark impulses. Indeed even her name means “sickness” in Vishanti.
Day 16: Elaina. After suffering a life of abuse for the curse she carries in her blood in a Dark version of Alkotas, Elaina crosses the Faen into a brighter version of her world, channeling the power within into sword magic.
Day 17: Kaethe. As Elaina’s sister by blood Kaethe also has the latent power of the fae running through her veins. When turned to vampirism in an experiment she emerges as an Oberite, a magical bloodline long thought extinct.
Day 18: Bellatrix. All Linirym are predatory by their nature and protective of what they consider theirs. Punishments are often severe for thieves, but Bellatrix has been known to take a certain pleasure in punishing such delinquents.
Day 19: Aislynn. Born as one of three Vishanti princesses, Aislynn has walked away from royal life to join the temple of Kyridwen and has gained renewed confidence after the tragic event that took her arm.
Day 20: Riva. Once a former lover and partner of Myanna’s, the two had a falling out when Riva began to hoard Cuirizathi to serve as her own personal army, making her a slow creeping rot within the Verdant Lust.
Day 21: Meghan. After decades in the Danvers Asylum in a zombie-like state, Meghan comes to her senses and rejoins a world she hardly recognizes where she will struggle to fit in with humans and Hidden alike.
Day 22: Tianna. Despite being one of the most accomplished Chronomagi in the Boston area, Tianna can still become preoccupied with timelines and possibilities that only she can see.
Victoria had a little arrangement with “Call Me ET”‘s Vampire Dragonborn character Klaudia for a special job and she’s performed it admirably. But Victoria’s reward for her ended up being a little bit more than she was expecting.
So many variations on he Bowsette thing are flying around twitter right now, with the crown going to just about every Mario enemy you can think of. There have been some really great ones and initially I was just content to watch it happening but a twitter user by the name of Nega-Kajin mused how there was an odd lack of Birdo and how that seemed like a prime target for the crown. I had seen two or three but nothing else really. I mentioned that I was tempted now that it had been mentioned and the gauntlet was thrown down. So here she is, Birdette. Note that the “original” in this case is the futa one, unlike a lot of other images I do. This is specifically because the musing related to how Birdo would have been a great source of Futa art. But I did some non-futa for the people who prefer a little less sausage on their ladies. Enjoy!
Well it looks as though the internet took a joke and completely ran with it. And I’m loving every god damn minute of it too. Something about how this all played out was perfect to me, and the idea of a dark, bitchy, slutty version of Peach has always been pretty appealing to me. This just sort of put it into some weird transformation territory that I think we can all agree is just the best. Three versions for you guys here today!
Among the Fae, social structures are not only complicated but actually hold weight within the world. Affiliations, Oaths, and allegiances have physical manifestations that influence the world and augment the powers, abilities, and appearances of every individual within the Faen. Many Fae are unaligned and some merely co-operate with whichever power holds sway in their area but for those who are part of a Fae court things become considerably more complicated.
The courts are divided in two ways. First is by season: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter with Spring and Summer working in tandem with each other while Autumn and Winter do the same. Then there are Seelie and Unseelie, while no Fae can truly be considered “good” or “evil” by the moral standards of most mortals the Seelie courts are often considered to be “more good” than the Unseelie because of their affiliation with the light and open court intrigue. The Unseelie courts prefer the night and secrecy with the various unsavory things that can be engaged in with both. Individual Courts led by Fae Lords and Ladies are characterized as “Seelie Spring” or “Unseelie Autumn” and so on. Spring and Summer tend toward Seelie more often than Unseelie while Autumn and Winter are opposite though neither are exclusive to each other.
And while this might all be complicated to keep straight it’s usually something that only the Fae have to worry about, even those that deal with the Fae intermittently are usually able to keep such dealings to an individual basis without having to entangle themselves with the complex politics those of the Faen engage in. Usually.
Changelings and Half-Fae are notable exceptions.
Changelings are mortals kidnapped from the physical world to be enslaved within the Faen. The Fae view themselves as higher creatures and as such have no moral qualms with putting mortal races to work for them through force or coercion. The Seelie tend to be more even handed with the practice, viewing themselves as benevolent masters who have “chosen” or “rescued” such mortals from otherwise banal existences. The Unseelie are more straight forward in their need for hard labor, pit fighters, or sex toys. The Faen is permeated with strange magical energies that mortal bodies aren’t equipped to deal with for prolonged periods but the Faen also appears to have something of a primitive consciousness to it as well.
Those who linger in the Faen for too long find their bodies changed or warped, often in a way that is suited to the tasks they’re initially pushed into. Pit fighters can become stronger or more durable while those taken for sex see their breasts enlarged or their flexibility enhanced. Once the changes are completed the Changeling is able to live within the Faen for longer periods of time without suffering mental deterioration, though not indefinitely. A Changelings courtly nature usually aligns with that of their master’s, as its the most likely way that they’re to survive. Those serving Unseelie Autumn Fae find themselves made to be Unseelie Autumn as well.
Half-Fae have it arguably worse than Changelings do. Half-Fae can not live in either the physical world or the Faen for too long and have to spend time in both for long periods of their lives in order to keep themselves mentally stable. This puts them into direct contact with the political machinations of their Fae relatives whether they like it or not on one side and places them in a place of flux on the other. Some Half-Fae find the constancy of the Faen to be more of a home than the mortal world and chafe at it’s dynamic shifts and altered allegiances over the “short” periods of decades or centuries. Others despise the unchanging ways of the Faen and the static nature of its occupants, desiring the progress that linear time brings in the mortal world.
In either case, Half-Fae will also struggle with their inner natures. They are neither made as the Faen intended nor able to truly choose their own path. Some are so torn by their own nature that they are capable of doing what no true Fae or Changeling can ever do lightly, change courts. Usually any Fae creature is bound to a court they choose for extended periods of time, with any change being born of world altering or catastrophic circumstances. Changes allegiances in courts is just not done that often among the Fae. Half-Fae however can be part of Spring in their 20’s and become Winter in their 60’s. But the changes for Fae usually occur along the Seelie-Unseelie access.
Gwendolyn of the Platinum Feather is such a half-fae. Originally born as a Seelie Spring Court Fae, Gwen eventually had to venture out into the world to secure mortal alliances and resources for her shrinking noble house. Being half human and half Veela she was particularly well suited to the task of moving between the realms. Initially she disliked the idea of leaving the Faen, but after a short time in Zelmesca she began to adapt…until she was taken by Myanna.
While she was with Myanna, Gwen was exposed to a great deal of things she’d not known previously. She was treated the way a Fae might treat a Changeling and was exposed to forms of decadence and excess at the expense of others (or her own expense) that she’d not been exposed to before. Her appetites grew dark and eventually Gwen’s nature shifted to Unseelie. Eventually when she would free herself from Myanna, Gwen shifted back to a Seelie nature and tried to move on. But within her there was an Unseelie self that hungered for the things she had with Myanna, who was not forever a part of who Gwen was.
Now Gwen struggles with both natures, trying to operate as a Seelie Fae out of duty to her family but harboring deep and powerful desires to be Unseelie and live a life like Myanna’s and keeping it as secret as she possibly can for fear of reprisal from the Seelie courts with which she is aligned.
I had this idea a while back, specifically the pose, and knew that it was going to have to be Betsy in the image. While I was mulling it over I was thinking that I hadn’t yet had the chance to do a color image of Betsy and Myanna together and thought this would be a good chance to do that. But when I got started I had this sudden need to make it Unbound Myanna and a canon story to go along with it began to form. The Unbound form is achieved by cuirizu of particular power who are able to reach deep within themselves and bring more of their fiendish heritage to the surface, unbinding them from the material plane for a short period of time and giving them a considerable power boost in the process. And though I’ve drawn Myanna in this form a few times I had not determined the circumstances under which she changes for the first time. With this pic I’ve decided that the trigger for her unbinding is actually the loss of Azade who is slain at the climax of a conflict with the Briar Harvest. After Myanna changes and takes immediate and swift revenge her meticulous and careful nature toward her garden vanishes and she goes on a reckless and self indulgent binging of every single woman of the garden without much regard for planning of Offspring. Myanna effectively goes off the rails.
Meanwhile Azade wakes up in the plane of Abaddon, finding out some horrible truths about the nature of those who serve Cuirizu and meets an unexpected person there in the process. In the physical world, Gwendolyn, who helped Azade in the battle against the Briar Harvest seeks a way to revive Azade before Myanna destroys the delicate balance of the Garden.
